On Thursday 27 February, 2025, I will teach a workshop on “Combining artistry, reflection and activism” as part of a CELA masterclass week on Literature on the main stage.

Literary artists tend to work on paper, but writers and translators can also use their in-depth knowledge and creativity to fulfil a role in stage programming. In this course we will cover many different aspects of working behind and in front of the curtains: curating an event, developing and producing a format, cooperating with partners, performing texts, presenting, interviewing… We will also cover audio and online projects (and how to get funding).
